This must be the most exclusively breathtaking experience that a skier or snowboarder could wish for - up onto the summit by helicopter, then down over dreamily unspoilt, virgin slopes.

The Arlberg is the only area in Austria to offer a heliskiing and heliboarding service. The Schneetäli (2,450 m) and the Mehlsack (2.652 m) peaks are approached this way and, with their amazing slopes and a difference in altitude of more than 1,200 metres, are considered to be among the most beautiful deep snow slopes in the Alps.

Heliskiing and heliboarding are only possible under the supervision of a fully trained ski and mountain guide, in good weather conditions and with the best snow.
